Orders
You can order conveniently online at any time. All online orders are secured by SSL encryption. Order Confirmation is provided by email immediately upon accepting the order. Shipping information (tracking numbers) is provided once your item(s) ship. If you’d prefer to place an order by phone, or confirm order details, please contact us at 757-828-8284 Monday to Saturday 8AM-8PM. If we’re unable to take your call, we’ll get back with you as quickly as possible.
Order Cancellations
Orders are confirmed and processed upon receipt. In order to provide the quickest possible deliveries for our customers, the order processing and shipping is highly automated. In many cases it will be difficult to stop shipment of an order once received. If you are unsure about your order for ANY reason, please contact us prior to placing the order. Should you realize you’ve made a mistake after ordering, you may request a change or cancelation and we will do our best to honor that request, provided that the order has not already been processed for shipment. We cannot be held liable for cancelled orders. If we are unable to accept the change or cancellation, please refer to the procedures as outlined under Returns. Returned items are eligible for full refund, minus return shipping fees, and (up to) a 20% restocking/cancellation fee
Backorders
We make every effort to provide accurate inventories at our warehouse or as provided by 3rd party suppliers. National inventories change rapidly and many manufacturers and distributors are still recovering from pandemic-era supply chain issues. Should we discover that an item is backordered after we’ve accepted your order, we will notify you immediately and provide an estimated delivery date as provided by the manufacturer. You may elect to keep the order or cancel at any time prior to shipment.
Accuracy of Product Information, Pricing and Inventory
Every effort is made to provide accurate product information, pricing and current inventory; but mistakes do sometimes occur. Product information and fitment is generally provided direct from the manufacturer and we do our best to ensure its accuracy. Please note that, due to the large number of parts across multiple year, make, and models, manufacturers often provide generic or representative images, but do not necessarily depict every variation for every vehicle. Never order based only on a provided picture as manufacturer-provided images may not always align with your specific vehicle. Always reference the part description and vehicle-specific fitment to determine proper part selection and, if any question or confusion, please contact us prior to ordering. When ordering online, proper part selection is the customer's responsibility. Inventories change rapidly and many manufacturers and distributors are still recovering from pandemic-era supply chain issues in material and transportation. As such, price, inventories, and shipping rates may change without notice. We are not responsible for typographical or technical errors, or pricing or inventory status displayed on the website as provided by our suppliers. Should we discover an error post order, we will contact you immediately and offer to provide the item at the corrected price and/or expected timeline to fulfill the order, or offer to cancel the order with full refund. If you notice any product or pricing information that you feel may be incorrect, or simply want to confirm inventory or fitment, please contact us prior to placing the order.
Warranty
Products we sell are covered by various manufacturer warranties and/or guarantees and cover the merchandise for a certain period of time after your purchase. Unless an item or kit is specifically manufactured or assembled by OAJ, we do not provide additional warranties beyond the manufacturer’s policy. Please refer to the warranty policy received with the merchandise for more information regarding the product warranty policy and procedures for initiationg a warranty claim. Some manufacturers request that you work directly with them, while others may request that you work through us. Should your product fail within the manufacturer warranty period, you may contact OAJ and we will assist you in determining the correct procedure to submit your warranty claim. We will be happy to act as an agent between you as the customer, and the manufacturer, but assume no responsibility or liability for another manfufacturer’s warranty.
All returned items will be inspected for warranty eligibility by our staff or the original manufacturer as determined by the manufacturer’s warranty policy. We or the manufacturer will replace, repair or refund the product based on those findings. Return freight must be prepaid by the customer to our location or directly to the manufacturer for warranty inspection.
Open Air Jeeps is not liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages from any products sold, and we are not responsible or liable for inconvenience, labor, legal fees or any other costs incurred due to the item's performance, or lack thereof, or while the item is being inspected or replaced. Warranties are generally non-transferrable and remain in effect as long as the original purchaser owns the merchandise for the time agreed upon in the terms and conditions of that warranty or guarantee. Warranty claims may be rejected due to many reasons, not limited to electrical issues or faulty vehicle wiring, modified vehicles or not intended application, misuse or improper installation.
