Standard and Expedited Shipping

Orders are normally processed before the end of the first business day they are received.  In stock orders routinely ship the same or next business day, depending upon the time the order is received.  Please keep in mind that shipping timelines are estimates based on 3rd party carrier quotes and, and are thus never guaranteed.  Minimal delays may be encountered particulalry during busy season or holidays.  Small items may be shipped by ground service or express service if selected at time of checkout.  Standard delivery orders are shipped via ground service using the most efficient carrier at our discretion – ground service may include USPS, UPS, FedEx or other 3rd party carriers.  Expedited orders may be shipped via a combination of air/ground expedited services as provided by USPS, UPS, FedEx or other 3rd Party carriers.  2nd Day or Overnight Express Orders must be received not later than 12pm EST in order to meet express delivery timelines.  Express service (other than standard) selected at time of checkout, incur additional charges.

 

Truck Freight

Larger items will be shipped by truck freight. These items are not limited to but may include wheels, tires, suspension lift kits, oversized bumpers, tire carriers, body tubs, hard tops and cargo racks. Truck freight or special order items incur additional charges and require additional shipping lead time for delivery.  All orders must include a complete U.S. domestic shipping address and phone number.  C.O.D. orders, P.O. Box, APO, or FPO orders are not accepted. In the case of APO or FPO orders, please contact us prior to ordering so that we may determine the best way to get your parts to you.  Please understand that shipping charges quoted online are estimates, based on ground service shipping within the continental U.S. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international addresses will incur additional shipping charges. We will contact you with a shipping quote before your order is finalized, but can provide no guarantee that we will be able to fulfill such orders.

 

Free Shipping

Certain items and/or quantity thresholds may qualify for FREE shipping.  To qualify for free shipping, the parts on an individual (single) order must meet the combined total threshold value (pre-tax, post-discounts) that is shown in the offer. Orders must select standard shipping during checkout to an address in the contiguous 48 U.S. states. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, FPO/APO, P.O. Box, and other International destinations DO NOT QUALIFY for free shipping, and will be quoted shipping charges during checkout. Certain oversized items require additional handling charges due to their size, weight or because they are delivered by truck freight. These items are not limited to but may include wheels, tires, suspension lift kits, oversized bumpers, tire carriers, body tubs, hard tops and cargo racks. Additional charges will be shown during checkout or advised prior to shipping. Prior purchases and returns do not qualify.

 

Damaged shipments

Customers should inspect packaging and parts upon receipt.  If you receive a damaged package, you may refuse delivery and the order will be returned to us. If you’ve already accepted the shipment please contact OAJ immediately at 757-828-8284 or parts@openairjeeps.com; we will assist in filing a damage claim with the carrier.  Please describe the damage and provide photographs of the packaging and damaged parts.  Keep the packaging and parts in the same condition as they arrived.  The carrier may request a physical inspection of the package, and they may void your claim if you do not have the packaging.  All carrier damage claims must be filed within five days of receiving shipment.

 

Returns

Returns may be authorized within 14 days of receipt of merchandise.  All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) Number.  Customers choosing to return an item should complete the RA Request form HERE.  Email the completed RA Request to parts@openairjeeps.com  OAJ will review and return the RA Approval with RA Number assigned and shipping instructions to complete the return.  Items returned in accordance with an approved RA are eligible for full refund minus shipping costs and 20% restocking fee as applicable. Returned items must be in resalable condition in original packaging including all manufacturer documentation and instructions. No returns on Electrical Parts, Computers or Programmers, Wiring Kits, Decals, Emblems, Clearance, Custom or Special Order Merchandise, or any item that has been installed, used, or damaged. Oversized or overweight parts may incur additional charges.
